Day 01. Arrive Delhi. Delhi –Mussoorie by surface (290 Kms)

Meeting and assistance on arrival and drive to Mussoorie and check-in at the hotel.

The hill resort of Mussoorie is often referred to as the "Queen of the Hills" and located in the foothills of the Himalayas, Mussoorie gets its name from the Mansur shrub that is commonly seen in the hill resort. Mussoorie is 34 kms from Dehradun is situated at an altitude of 2003 mts in the Garhwal hills. above sea-level. Mussoorie is one the beautiful hill stations in India and the most frequently visited. Major Hindu pilgrimage sites like Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, Yamunotri, Haridwar, Rishikesh are not far from this place.

Day 02. Mussoorie

After breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing visiting Gun Hill offers a beautiful panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges namely Bunderpunch, Srikantha, Pithwara and Gangotri group etc. and a bird's eye view of Mussoorie town and Doon Valley. Camel's Back Road, Kempty Fall, Van Chetna Kendra, Clous End.

Day 03. Mussorie –Haridwar by surface (102 Kms)

After breakfast drive to Haridwar and check-in at the hotel.

On the foothills of Shivaliks range is Haridwar known as the gateway to the four Hindu Dhams in Uttaranchal. Devotees visit the holy town to purty their body, mind and soul. It is also known for its reputed learning centres for science, art and culture. The Kumbh and Ardh Kumbh fairs are also held here making the 12 year solar cycle (when Jupiter transits to the zodiac sign of Aquarius). Millions of devotees take a dip in the holiest of Hindu river “The Ganges” during this time to attain salvation.

Later visitng Har Ki Pauri (1.5 Kms) - This bathing ghat (access to the river, constructed of steps) is one of the most sacred ghats in India. People say that Vikramaditya built this ghat in memory of his brother Bhartrihari. This ghat is also known as Brahmakund.Also visiting Mansa Devi.

Evening watch Ganga Aarti at the Ghats. The Ganga Aarti which is celebrated at 7 pm each night, is a spectacular sight, when the aarti ceremony is performed at all temples in Haridwar at the same instant. Hundreds throng to the ghats at Hari-ki-Pauri to participate in this festival. Offerings of lamps and flowers are made to the river immediately following this ceremony and it is a moving sight to watch hundreds of miniature lamps float along the river. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04. Haridwar – Delhi by surface (199 Kms)

After breakfast proceed to visit Rishikesh.

Rishikesh is a very important Hindu pilgrimage site. This is also a cluster of a number of Ashrams and temples giving the entire place a spiritual feeling. The ceaseless flow of the river, regarded as Goddess Ganga adds to the beauty and the purity of the place. Along the river, the area is filled with thick green forests in the all-mountainous region. Hordes of sadhus (sages) come to this place every year in search.

Visiting Triveni Ghat - Around 1½ km from the Rishikesh is a bathing spot known as Triveni. Nearby is the Bharat Mandir - Rishikesh's oldest temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The Mansa Devi temple - (10 km) is famous for its Navratri festival. Neelkanth Mahadev - It is a place of interest especially for the religious minded tourists. It is said to be the place where Lord Shiva drank the venom that had come out during the cosmic churning of the ocean by the gods and demons. The spot is at a distance of 12 km from the centre of Rishikesh town and is surrounded by lush, sylvan forests.

Later drive to Delhi Airport / Railway station to connect flight / train for onward destination.
